Summary/Abstract: Creating value in cross-organizational network is a new area of network research. Though an extensive bibliography can be easily found, the phenomenon has not yet been fully resolved. In general, authors balance between the desire to find a more formalized way of solving management problems and the natural process of selecting network leaders. The objectives of this article are to attempt to identify models of value creation in the network, the synthesis of the characteristics of the models, and the trial to assess the value creation model in the Business Competences Forum at the University of Economics in Wroclaw. Taking into account the analysis of significant differences between the models creates value through a critical look at the results of the evaluation model tested case.
