Changes in Polish enterprises resulting from internationalization

Summary/Abstract: This paper has been devoted to the presentation of changes that occurred in Polish enterprises as a result of their internationalization. The changes take place in two stages. First, some adjustment must be conducted before the start of an internationalization process. The second stage consists of changes after the entry to foreign markets or the increase of the level of internationalization. The main conclusion is the high dynamics of changes in the analysed firms. Moreover, Polish firms aim at introducing best practices. However, the changes were predominantly limited to few areas of activities.
