Summary/Abstract: Sustainable development of organization is a great challenge towards the pursuit of an organizational perfection, but immediately the question arises if reaching that perfection is possible. Unfortunately, a lot of facts indicate that with the present unfavorable surroundings of organization, most of them, which in full and actual dimension will decide to implement sustainable development principles in their strategy, and as a result to adopt socially responsible business model, will be at risk of failing. First of all two basic facts prove such a conclusion. Firstly, the legal environment is completely not adapted to the development of socially responsible organization, which is the result of political hedonism, which is an immanent feature of democratic systems. Second, the level of social responsibility of consumers remains insufficient and it is difficult to expect its substantial change in the short term, due to the nature of consumer hedonistic human behavior. In further considerations, the author tries to find possible solutions for leveling presented unfavorable elements of the organization’s environment, which could lead to the creation of real sustainable development of the organization, so that this idea will not remain only a utopia.
