Mathematical model of individual social responsibility

Summary/Abstract: The present paper defines a consumer behaviour referred to as individual social responsibility. The definition is based on the recently introduced qualitative method of measuring social responsibility as well as on the ConSr indicator. The essence of the proposed definition has a complementary character of individual and public pro-ecological activities. The authors introduced a mathematical decision model of a socially responsible consumer based on the term. The determinants of individual social responsibility were provided and the direction of the income effect was examined. The impact of other sources of risk on the level of individual social responsibility was also researched.
