Business process maturity to improve processes from the perspective of the ability of an organisation

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the improvement of processes from the perspective of achieving the process maturity of the organisation. The attention is focused on the matters referring to the preparation of enterprises for the implementation of changes in the processes. Basing on the results of empirical studies, the means of how enterprises practically plan and organise the preparation for improvement of processes is presented. Additionally, the characteristics of process maturity of the studied organisations are indicated.
