Local government as the benchmark of integrated governance in the process of sustainable development

Summary/Abstract: This paper examines the determinants of governance of integrated and sustainable development and the role played in this regard by public authorities and civil society. The first part of the article examines the issue of governance integrated in the process of sustainable development. The second part focuses on the local government as a corporate entity integrated in sustainable development. The third part takes up the issue of the role of civil society in the development of integrated governance.
