Observation on life quality afterliver and renal transplantation

Summary/Abstract: Patients with organ transplantation experience great traumatismwhile accepting the new organ - physically and mentally. Integration of the organ is associated with the process of social integration, resocialization and rehabilitation of patients. Attitudes towards those people are still disqualifying in Bulgaria. This is mainly due to ignorance of the problem and lack of information about organ transplantations. The authors’ purpose is to show the changes of the patients with liver and renal transplantation. 40 cases of patients (15 with liver and 25 with renal transplantation) are presented. The authors consider such criteria as: career, social integration and family relations.
