Effective and efficient implementation of project solutions in the field of city logistics – selected issues

Summary/Abstract: The main objective of the article is to present the selected conditions of implementation and preferred directions of action of city logistics projects in the context of their effectiveness and efficiency. The first part of the article presents shortly the concept of city logistics projects. Next the stages and actions of implementation of the effective and efficient project solutions in the field of city logistics are presented. The second part of the paper includes the classification of city logistics projects, taking into account factors such as the size of investment expenditures and the necessity of legislative and administrative changes to implement them. This part of the paper also includes the list of local instruments which can be useful in the effective and efficient implementation of project solutions in the field of city logistics.
