Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the paper is an attempt of application of ELECTRE III/IV method in order to obtain the ranking of Polish cities with county rights taking into account their activity in the area of logistics projects, economics factors resulting from budget restrictions and selected indicators relating to environmental flows of people and goods within a city. The highest position in the ranking have been obtained such by cities as: Warsaw, Toruń and Gdańsk.
