Summary/Abstract: This article indicates how selected factors connected with human capital affect the value of gross domestic product per capita. The logarithmic method was used to assess the impact of labour productivity and share of people who work on the level of gross domestic product per capita. The article shows that in the case of 28 examined countries in the group of 40 there was the real increase of GDP per capita, the real increase of labour productivity and the increase of share of working population in 2010 compared to 2000. In all these analysed economies the greater influence of labour productivity on GDP per capita was observed than the influence of share of working people.
