Structural conditions of inequalities in the world economy
Strukturalne uwarunkowania nierówności w gospodarce światowej

Summary/Abstract: The analysis conducted in the study was focused on interrelations between income inequalities and structural features of economies of the countries around the world. The research covered relations between the role of three sectors: agriculture, industry, services and Gini index. The results indicate a role of services as a sphere minimizing inequalities in a scale of global comparisons. However, in the most developed countries the poles of development could be found within the service sector and they lead to polarization and increase of inequalities.
