Summary/Abstract: The present article discusses the most important errors made by Polish students of Romanian Philology, due to linguistic interference. By the latter, we understand not only the influence of one’s native language upon the target language, but also the influence of other foreign languages, learnt previously or parallely to the target language, as well as intralingual interference that occur within the target language. We point out the major problems encountered by the students, trying, at the same time, to explain their possible causes. The article discusses phonetic, lexical, as well as grammatical errors. In the final part, we focus upon the different methodologies that are used in order to reduce the number of errors made by the students.
