Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the results of questionnaire study including 427 representatives of management staff. The objective of the study concerned the identification of correlation between diversity management on one hand and corporate financial results and knowledge-based economy on the other. The respondents’ answers were compared in the following groups: management staff of the best enterprises listed in rankings vs. enterprises outside rankings and management staff of enterprises which are knowledge-based organisation (within the knowledge-based economy) and those which are not knowledge-based organisations (outside the knowledge-based economy). The research was held so as to enable the analysis of data considering such criteria as management level and sex. There were revealed statistically significant positive correlations between diversity management on one hand and financial results of the enterprises and knowledge-based economy on the other. Therefore, the research has confirmed that diversity management is not only a sign of adaptation to the increasingly diverse society, customers’ needs and expectations, market structure and entire environment, but it also brings measurable benefits of better financial results and faster development of the knowledge-based economy.
