Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present the empirical evidence for the existence of the linkage between broadly defined human resource management (HRM) and the organizational performance. Due to numerous papers on this subject, the authors give some examples of representative quantitative research, conducted on large samples, confirming the relationships between various aspects of HRM and company’s outcomes. The article focuses on the identification of these factors and indicates those with a direct and indirect impact on the results.
