The use of factor analysis to identify hidden constructs - determinants of the cooperation risk

Summary/Abstract: On the basis of literature review this study defines the sources of co-operation risk Empirical studies were carried out on a 117-element sample selected in a targeted man-ner. The results were treated in a way to determine dimensionality (factor analysis was used) and reliability of the scale (Cronbach's alpha). As a goal for discussion the article adopts the determination of dimensions of risk perception cooperation in chosen companies from the SME sector implementing the risk management process. The results emphasize that the source of the risk of cooperation is perceived by decision makers as insignificant for chosen companies implementing the risk management process, and there are three dimen-sions of risk sources of cooperation for chosen SMEs implementing the risk management process.
