The image of the city Olsztyn among its residents

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to present the image of the city of Olsztyn among its residents. The research was conducted with the use of CAWI method (Computer-Assisted Web Interview). Research results have shown that the respondents are satisfied with their place of residence. They appreciate its environment, considering it as an element forming the attractiveness and beauty of this city. The symbols of Olsztyn by respondents are primarily lakes, which are characteristic for this region but also the Castle of Chapter of Warmia and University of Warmia and Mazury. As the strengths of the city there were indicated outcomes of natural beauties of the city of Olsztyn and the presence of university. In contrast, the weaknesses relate to the road infrastructure and the labor market.
