The character of the health services

Summary/Abstract: The growing importance of the service sector is connected with the dynamics of its development. The character of the service activity is based on its flexibility and individual adjustment to the client’s needs. The health services discussed in the article are an example of adjusting the knowledge of the service provider (doctor) to the patient’s needs. It is important, as each case requires an individual approach and a direct contact with the service recipient. That is why the quality of the medical services is a subjective concept.
