Potential of production’s factors in agriculture in Poland

Summary/Abstract: In other papers concerning agricultural economics, the problem of low resources productivity is frequently stressed. However, the measuring methods are controversial, because they do not consider a progressive depreciation of fixed assets in agriculture, being higher than in other sectors. That aspect and the new utility of land in terms of sustainable development, entitles to formulate the thesis that: the potential of agricultural resources in Poland is above average. The objective of the article is an evaluation of the dynamism of potential productivity of the capital and labor in agriculture in Poland in the years 1995-2006.
