About the European Spiritual Principle

Summary/Abstract: The current analysis deals with the genesis and evolution of the European spiritual principle. It is understood as a comprehensive and integral life guided by reason (philosophically encompassing, rather a kind of wisdom) and more precisely, as unity and simultaneity of cognition, living and realization in the ongoing life. It is noted that the principle underlies European civilization. By tracing out its development, the author provides proof that it is always operative despite the historical peculiarities, deviations and malformations through which it is implemented. Special attention is also paid to some disputable questions and arguable contentions about the specifics of European civilization.
