Summary/Abstract: The paper provides a study on the interconnection between the ethnic stereotypes as a phenomenon of everyday culture, and citizenship in one of its specific manifestations – labour as an inalienable and inherent right and obligation of the modern citizen and, eventually, as an emanation of citizenship in general. Citizenship is both theoretically framed as a term, and considered in its everyday understanding. On the basis of civic ethnostereotypes, the idea of arrangement of the ethnic world in categories of citizens, non-citizens and super-citizens is proposed.
