Summary/Abstract: First of all in the paper are described the principles for managing risk (ISO 31000). There are also identified the tasks of executives and employees involved in managing risk considering risk owners and risk managers. According to that the next step was to describe the role of different persons involved in managing risk in territorial self-government unit. There are also characterized theirs activities especially in risk identification and risk analysis.
