Summary/Abstract: Marketing, in general, and especially strategic marketing have recently become essential components of activity, not only for companies but also for nonprofit or the public organizations. Principles for promoting companies and products through marketing mix elements find wide applicability among organizations whose purpose is not achieving the profit but providing intangible products, essential to the functioning of society as a whole. Practically, referring to military organization, whose purpose is to ensure national security, the application of strategic marketing elements can lead to a better perception of the performance of the military organization for the benefit of the community.
