LANDMARKS OF THE HYBRID CONFLICT IN THE 20TH CENTURY AND AT THE BEGINNING OF THE 21ST CENTURY

Summary/Abstract: Hybrid threats were present during most of the conflicts that have occurred over the time by combining conventional methods, specific armed confrontations with unconventional methods. Hybrid threats have evolved exponentially over the time, but the conflicts that took place during the 20th century and especially at the beginning of 21st century are the most relevant in terms of the hybrid nature of the confrontation. As a consequence, I submitted a brief analysis of a number of five conflicts of recent history to highlight specific features of the hybrid conflict.
