Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to identify key trends of Polish export in the period considered. The foreign trade is understood here in the narrow sense of selling and buying material goods abroad. The analysis covers Polish trade (in particular export) with all the countries of the world during the years 1999-2014. The article presents: the value of turnover of Polish foreign trade, the share of Polish export in the world export, the share of export in GDP, the share of export in the Polish industrial production sold, the dynamic of Polish export and the world export, the export activity conducted in Poland by entities with foreign capital, the geographical structure of Polish exports and the composition of exports by sections according to SITC nomenclature, one of problems of Polish export – lack of own brands, image-building barrier. The article is based on the statistical data published by the Central Statistical Office and the Trade Map.
