Summary/Abstract: Entertainment in radio and TV productions occupies a primary place in the preferences of audience. In this case, the communication context and contract no longer generate the remote effect of a media product: culture-based entertainment. New terms and phrases are coined (‘nimicologi’, literally translatable as ‘specialists in nothingology’, entertainment with no involvement), programme strategies are reconfigured for supporting shows that generate laughter. All social and non-social events perceived as funny become a stimulus for laughter.
