Summary/Abstract: Abstract Arad is a city with recognition in the Romanian history, many of the great personalities who participated at the Great Union from the 1st of December 1918, originated from Arad County. The city of Arad has an immense economic and cultural potential which was capitalized throughout the history. Arad as a touristic center, it can be considered an interesting city, with delightful views and places worth visiting. Rezumat Aradul este un oraş cu renume în istoria românească, multe dintre marile personalităţi care au participat la Marea Unire de la 1 Decembrie 1918, au fost originare din judeţul Arad. Oraşul Arad deţine un imens potenţial economic şi cultural care a fost fructificat de-a lungul istoriei. Aradul ca şi centru turistic, poate fi considerat un oraş interesant, cu privelişti încântătoare şi locuri care merită a fi vizitate şi preţuite.
