Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the features of the traditional Nenets clothes, footwear and their details the names of which came to Nenets from the protolanguage. The attempt to define the differences between the Nenets subjects, described by these words, and the Proto-Samoyedic subjects by means of a method of semantic reconstruction is made in the article.
