Summary/Abstract: The Genitive Case is the second widespread case in terms of the frequency of syntactic functions both on Romanian and German. Therefore, in our study we have tried to identify the syntactic functions in both languages and the similarities and differences between German and Romanian. We have also discussed the usage of the Genitive with preposition and without preposition
