Summary/Abstract: The review essay discusses the monograph A szóértés feltételei. Nemzedékváltási problémák a hetvenes évek romániai magyar irodalmában [On the Possibilities of Understanding. Problems of Generational Conflict in the Hungarian Literature from Romania in the Seventies] by literary historian Ágnes Kata Miklós. The author offers a comprehensive phenomenological analysis of the generational emergence patterns characteristic for the young writers published in the book series “Forrás” [Fountain], focusing on their struggles in the significantly restricted public space of Romania in the seventies.
