Summary/Abstract: The present paper highlights the main coordinates of Vintila Horia’s poetry during his exile. All the poetry he wrote far from his native country expresses the uncensored emotion of profound patriotism which, like his entire literary work, is rafinately filtered in a lyrical discourse devised according to the rhytm of classical poetry.
