Summary/Abstract: The present paper focuses on a theoretical and applicative presentation of the trans-disciplinary orientation of the contemporary Romanian educational system towards children and youth literature. Our approach is based on two perspectives. One of these is the theory launched by Basarab Nicolescu and George Văideanu, reinforced by Liviu Antonesei. Its focus is represented by the macro level of the system. The second is the same theory, but the focus is laid on a micro level (Romanian language and literature). The aesthetic and literary component is based on three volumes of poetry for children by Şerban Foarţă: Un castel în Spania pentru Annia. Here poetry (self)builds around famous paintings so that children could understand it. The second, Amadeus, offers segments in Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart’s life, poetry being intermingled with the image and the musical sheet. In the third, Caiet cuMinte pentru Minte, poetry in Romanian, French and English mixes itself with lexical games (puns), mathematical games, with the graphical exercise and drawing, with natural sciences, numeration etc.
