Summary/Abstract: In the present study, the author proposes to generally increase the implementation of the rules of chant as they were explained by the St. Niceta of Remesiana (366/367-414) in his treatise De bono psalmodiae. The article will also address the importance of the celebration of the Vigil in which the chanting has played an essential role.
