Summary/Abstract: This article evokes the personality of Metropolitan Andrei of Cluj, characterized by the author as “a man of vocations”. According to the author, Metropolitan Andrei has the vocation of limitless respect for the other’s inner freedom, he vocation of listening with patience, of being available “with and without time”, the vocation of humbly shaping destinies, the vocation of consistently fulfilling the entrusted responsibilities, the vocation of being unconditionally forgiving, vocation of being first parent-bishop and then, perhaps, master-bishop.
