Information and communication technologies (ICT) in the light of smart specializations of Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study was to determine the place of ICT in the context of the development of smart specializations of Świętokrzyskie region. The studies used the diagnostic method and the research tool was a questionnaire. The research sample was constructed as a snowball sampling. The main conclusion of the research is the perception of the leading role of horizontal specialization in the form of information and communication technologies. Support for this specialization should be: resource-efficient construction, health tourism and health-focused, sustainable energy development and the sector of fair and congress.
