Summary/Abstract: Guri i Sokolecit (Sokolec’s Stone) which is located near the village of Kalishta, Gostivar, represents a sacred realm in which were focused various ritual activities and magical practices, through which was required the treatment of female subjects and especially of those who had problems with childbirth. These activities took place during the day of Shëngjergj, while the most frequented place, was Sokolec’s Cave in which three times entered and left the ritualized subjects with the belief that after this act there could be ensured the childbirth. Cave was per-ceived as a realm that was connected with the underground world, namely with the chthonic gods from whom was ensured fertility, not only on the cosmogonical plan, but also in the anthropological one.
