Summary/Abstract: In the past two decades, especially after the war in Kosovo, the situation of handcraft-ing the traditional instruments has changed significantly in favor of masters. In the new circumstances, the musical handcraft craft began to take affirmative and representative dimensions of a traditional culture, which should be subject to all apprentices of this work. Learning to craft was coming from different ways: from family inheritance, from other and crafts, or from someone who discovered himself that have ability to make mu-sical instruments. Çiftelia and Sharkia are two traditional folk instruments made by wood. Their ultimate realization goes through several stages. So, wood is the material from which the object and the sound are produced by. Master, who intends to make musical instruments, first must determine and select the type of wood from which the instrument will produce sound. After this, there are several steps that should be taken by the master to produce the final product. So, anyone who is interested to go through the article will find stages and methods of this kind of handcraft.
