Farmers’ health insurance premium in Poland.

Summary/Abstract: This article looks at the rationale and the legal and socio-economic consequences of the judicial decision by the Polish Constitutional Tribunal concerning farmers’ health insurance premium. In 2010 the Tribunal ruled that the amount of the premium should be income-based (until now, the premium has been state-subsidised irrespective of the farmers’ income).
