Living conditions of rural population in Poland.

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to describe current living conditions in Polish rural areas and the changes that have taken place in the recent years. The author presents the statistical data on rural population regarding its social situation and access to public services (education, culture, health care). The analysis shows that the living conditions in rural areas in Poland have been improving, however the situation varies across the regions.
