Summary/Abstract: Abstract: Objectives: The present paper deals with the question of the length of the judicial proceedings and the impact that Law no. 202/2010 may have. Prior Work: It is conceived as a follow-up to the prior works on the influence of the case-law of the European Court on Human Rights, which established in a very clear way the obligation of the Romanian State in this field.Implication and value: The study underlines the various implications on civil and on criminal procedures, by way of foreseeing the way the judiciary could implement it. Result: The study reaches the conclusion that a new speeding remedy should be adopted.
