Contemporary problems in the labour market of Bulgaria

Summary/Abstract: The problems observed in the domestic labor market are complex, mostly due to the impact of economic and financial crisis conditions established on a pan-European scale. At present, our country represented by public institutions, mobilizes its efforts to alleviate the influence of the crisis on employment possibilites, stimu-lating the free movement of the labor force in order to have a greater chance of finding work and achieving a career in the corresponding active behavior of the labor market. To implement these priorities, borrowing from foreign practices, aprobated tools and mechanisms to fight unemployment is justified, but with a recommendation to obligatory ob¬serve specifics in the behavior of the fundamental processes of the labor market, and to report the national social and economic, demographic, political and psychological conditions, which will be applied. At this stage of the development and function of the labor market in Bulgaria, the main mechanisms that are relied on, shuld be the optimum combination and complex performance of organized forms for the provision of social protection, on one hand and on the other, conducting, monitoring and improving the implementation of current and differential programs for alternative employment and training courses, retraining and the acquisition of key competences, according to the concept of lifelong learning.
