Summary/Abstract: The main goal of my research is to envisage the modernity of Stendhal’s works in the perspective of the narrative poetics, since I find that the stendhalian text is very well fit to the application of a rigorous and efficacious method. This reasoning is based on an analysis of the functioning of the narrativity in Stendhal’s works aiming at surprising its specificity and its originality.
