An alternative to wind instruments

Summary/Abstract: The present article presents, from an educational perspective, a study on electronic wind instruments as an alternative to real wind instruments, emphasizing their role in acquiring relational, musical, and technical skills as part of musical education. The wide pallet of wind instruments (and not only) which electronic instruments can emulate – by means of fingering systems – ensures sufficient valences for the creation of certain sonorities compatible with those of traditional instruments.
