Summary/Abstract: Faculty of Electrical Engineering (ETF) in Sarajevo, as a partner in Tempus project UM-JEP-19015: “Quality Assurance of Studies through Accreditation: Accreditation agency in Bosnia and Herzegovina” was involved in setting up educational standards in form of knowledge, skills and competences for the professionals in the field of informatics. In the framework of the TEMPUS project our Faculty was granted pilot accreditation by the experts from the German accreditation agency ASIIN. Quality assurance based on comparable criteria and methods was included among the main objectives of the Bologna Declaration. Regular internal evaluation and accreditation are very important in implementing the Bologna process. However, beside these periodical activities, continuous and thorough quality control and corrective measures are of the most importance in achieving high quality of education. This paper presents the results achieved at the ETF Sarajevo in application of the following quality assurance instruments: learning outcomes as standards for assign study programs (1), and automated continual students’ study progress (2).
