Summary/Abstract: The research focused on the innovative Polish Cluster Radon constituting the element of cooperation for the development of spa tourism in Lower Silesia region. A tourism cluster; representing an original concept of integrated management of the area; constitutes a spatial concentration of mutually connected enterprises; institutions and organizations by means of a developed network of relations based on a common trajectory of development (e.g. technological; common target markets; etc.); which are simultaneously competing and cooperating in some aspects of operation. In Poland clusters also remain an important component of regional and transregional policy; an effective tool for supporting the particular area development; thus allowing for permanent improvement of competitiveness and innovativeness of local economy. Along with the gradual cluster participants’ integration; as a result of good; mutual communication; facilitated by an information technology platform; there is a chance for achieving social proximity resulting in improved relations capital of the cluster participants.
