Summary/Abstract: The article studies and systematizes the types of printed and electronic sources of bibliographic information (with possible long-distance access to them) on contemporary publications relating to Cyrillo-Methodian problems. It takes into account the advantages and shortcomings of the two forms of information presentation. The survey gives a general idea of sources of different types, contents and forms with a view to assisting and speeding up the process of the search for reliable and comprehensive information about new publications in the field on an international scale. As a result of the study the conclusion is reached that relative completeness and accuracy in compiling Cyrillo-Methodian publications may be achieved only by balancing the use of printed and electronic publications. The two sources supplement each other and contribute to the building up of an integral notion of the contemporary state of scholarly research. The article indicates the sources used by the associates of the Cyrillo-Methodian Research Centre of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in compiling the Cyrillo-Methodian bibliography.
