Summary/Abstract: Authors pay their attention to the constitutional aspects of the police investigation regarding to the rights guaranteed by Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (right to protection from degrading treatment, right to liberty and right to to respect for private life). They analyze the judgment of the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic on the violation of these rights of private individuals.
