Summary/Abstract: The Act no. 543/2002 Coll. on the nature and landscape protection enables the public authorities to impose the offender of an administrative offence with the financial sanctions up to 33,193.91 Euro and forfeiture. The Act no. 300/2005 Coll. the Criminal Code establishes also the analogous legal instruments – in the form of financial penalty from 160.00 Euro up to 331,930.00 Euro and penalty of forfeiture. Author of the paper analyzes the possibility of the concept of “criminal charge” and the criminal offence assessment criteria application on the Slovak legislation on liability for administrative offenses in the section of nature and landscape protection.
