Summary/Abstract: The Bulgarian economy has the lowest labor productivity in the EU. In order to find the reason for the occurrence of this problem, are investigated the factors, influencing the labor productivity on a disaggregate level. In this paper are analyzed fourteen industries for a seven years period (2001 to 2007) using annual data. This research applies the Zellner’s method for estimation of systems with simultaneous equations to estimate the influence of six selected factors on labor productivity. The findings of the research include negative influence of the expenditures for tangible assets in agriculture, positive impact of wages in most industries except mining, weak or no influence of the FDI levels and strong influence of inflation in all industries.
