Summary/Abstract: The study presented here is an attempt to apply statistical methods when analysing the techniques of the Old Bulgarian translation of the Biblical books. The object of observation is the Slavic text of the Book of the Prophet Ezekiel with Theodoret of Cyrus’ commentaries according to MS F.I.461. Quantitative data are summarised in word indices to EzF.I.461. Tables and diagrams illustrate various glottometric criteria of the Slavic target text and the Greek source text comparatively. The study may well be used as a basis for future comparison with other translated texts subjected to similar analysis.
