Ecological investment funds of Swiss banks

Summary/Abstract: Swiss Banking represents an advanced part of financial service industry. Also this part of modern finance evolves towards CSR standards, including the ecological once. Many Swiss banks have been widely recognized as ecological leaders, already for years. One of Swiss specialties is offering investments products combining economic and ecological criteria. This unique offer is available also on international financial market. The aim of the elaboration is to present selected cases of supporting natural environment protection by offering specialized ecological investment funds by Swiss banks on the European financial market. In the article description, comparison and case study methods are used. Based on the research it is possible to state that an advanced part of financial service industry, such as Swiss Banking, offers a wide range of investment funds respecting also ecological criteria. Another interesting issue is social-ecological requirements of West-European investors. It could be considered as a phenomenon of this market.
